PLANT SOLUTIONS
Palm Kernel Crushing Plant
Review the pressing line as a complete process, with equipment and interfaces selected around the feed and required duty.
Process objective
Review kernel pressing with upstream feed handling and downstream oil and cake routes.
Suitable feedstock
Palm kernels; describe any first-press cake used for a second pressing stage.
Example process flow
- 01Feed handling
- 02Kernel pressing
- 03Screening & filtration
- 04Cake transfer
Generic process explanation. Sequence and equipment must be agreed for the project; this is not a completed installation.
Equipment & scope of supply
| Work package | Scope to agree |
|---|---|
| Core machinery | Selected press and process equipment — Subject to KCP confirmation |
| Handling and filtration | Feed, discharge, screening and filtration interfaces; items by others identified |
| Controls and utilities | Automation, instruments and utility requirements — Subject to KCP confirmation |
| Site work and handover | Installation, commissioning and operator guidance — Subject to KCP confirmation |
| Civil and electrical works | Responsibility, exclusions and subcontract scope must be agreed |
Optional configurations
Single or successive pressing stages, oil screening/filtration and material-handling interfaces are options for discussion.
Subject to KCP confirmation — Equipment availability, detailed layout, utilities, controls and integration responsibilities.
Installation, maintenance & spare parts
Include access, component removal, commissioning records and initial spares in the scope discussion. Confirm whether KCP will provide a site visit, remote review or separately quoted service.
Questions before you enquire
Is this a completed KCP project?
No. The process shown is an example explanation of equipment interfaces. It is not a completed-project reference or a certified plant layout.
Can the supply be turnkey or semi-turnkey?
These terms depend on the agreed responsibilities. Subject to KCP confirmation for engineering, civil works, utilities, installation, commissioning and training before a turnkey claim is made.
What should I send for an upgrade?
Provide the existing equipment list, process flow, site layout, operating duty and the constraint you want to address. Identify equipment to retain and interfaces that can change.
